BIOGRAPHY
I started climbing at the age of 10 in Banff at a climbing gym built in an old squash court. I was captivated by the problem-solving and self progression of the sport. Despite the modest facility, I soon began competing in the youth circuit and represented team Canada at World Championships.
I’m now based in Vancouver and spend my time climbing outdoors; I work full time as an engineer and get up to Squamish every chance to climb. I enjoy bouldering, sport climbing and trad climbing and am motivated to push myself into various disciplines. I have a passion for travel and love to see new parts of the world and climb along the way. I’ve climbed around the world in newly developed crags in Ecuador, international competitions in Europe, the deep-water soloing mecca of Mallorca, and the epic alpine environment of the Bugaboos. I like to share my passion for the sport with friends and those I meet along the way.
I enjoy continually pushing my limits while bouldering and sport climbing and even after 20 years of climbing I still love that I can still learn new aspects of the sport. I enjoy the adventure and camaraderie of climbing and appreciate fun climbs in beautiful environments. Two decades in and still as psyched as ever!
