Tacos & Guacamole
Celeste is an environmentally conscious climber based in Milwaukee, WI, US, whose sedentary life changed for the first time when she had open-heart surgery at age 14. Finally, being able to participate in rigorous physical exercises other than walking and for the second time when she discovered the fantastic world of climbing inspired by friends who climbed hard in 2012. Later on, found yoga, another hobby that turned into a great combination with climbing around 2014. She loves to travel to climb with friends and aims to progress her climbing adventures with unfamiliar moves in ordinary places not only because she’s short but because some unchalked holds are better than the more popular chalked holds. Practicing yoga supplements her climbing and aspires to do handstands, splits, and send harder routes. She shares her passion for climbing by encouraging beginner and same level climbers to push their climbing limits as much as she does internally. Her recent favourite places to climb are Red River Gorge in Kentucky, Red Rock, Fontainebleau, France and Mallorca, Spain, and hopes to return to Spain soon. The next climbing trip stops in 2018, in Portugal.
Besides climbing and yoga, she works as an Electrical Engineer working on machines to make the world more productive and sustainable.
