BIOGRAPHY

I am a climber who grew up in Canmore, Alberta and got my start in climbing by being signed up for summer camps at the Vsion; the old gym that used to be in Canmore run by Dung Nguyen, who would later be my coach on the youth team in the same gym. After summer camp, I decided to join the youth team and began competing. After ten years, I’ve competed in many national championships resulting in two wins and several podium finishes. I have also had the privilege of competing at a couple of international youth competitions as a national team member of Canada. These include youth world championships in Canada and Italy as well as Pan American championships in Mexico. After ageing out of youth, my focus has shifted to the outdoors, wherein the summer of 2017, I sent my first 5.13d and got some exposure to trad climbing. I am now at university in Kelowna, B.C., trying to stay fit and strong for future projects.
